Of course. We just sometimes need to include 'everyone' in these kinds of plots. It's a little like saying... Ge'rge went between times and saved Fara'ki from dying of threading. But because of this, Ge'rge's parents never met and now Ge'rge will never be born.

That's what we are worried about happening.

Keep in mind, that when Lessa went back to bring the Oldtimers forward, she had a visual reference to use to go back in time and then to return to her own time. When Jaxom and Ruth made the one trip forward, he did it up in space on one of the remaining ships that brought the settlers to Pern, and used a digital time piece to help him go forward. He also had the advantage that Ruth always knows WHEN he is in time. That ability is unique to Ruth only. No other dragon will have it.
I will point out something, in concerns to going forward in time- Ta'yo has not returned to his own time. He has no point of reference to get home, since he hasn't figured out how he got back in time to start with.

Should we share with you the entire set of rules we have on time travel?

It could be a share and contribute thing. Bladesong, JackHarper, Leksy, Talen, Kai/Kbear, SJ, Moon....

We should all have something to say or input into this idea. It does in fact affect everyone.
