There are two dolphin pods that call the waters around the Western Continent home. One pod is found in the waters around Sandy Foam Seahold. The other lays claim to the waters around the beach that is an hour's ride on runner from the Weyr.

Station Dolphins are not members of pods. They're individual dolphins that have chosen to go to space and work on ships and space stations. They're Listed on the character sheets of the people who are their partners. They are not from Pern. The Pods are Pern born and based dolphins.
